A Small Update

Thank you to everyone who has been in touch asking about future plans for The Magnets. We're currently developing plans and seeking investors for a new show, and hopeully we'll find somebody rather more reliable than Back Row Productions, who let us down badly despite the obvious success of Vox Pop in Hamburg and Berlin in terms of both audience numbers and reviews.

Unfortunately, the news about the cancellation of our German dates came too late to rebook dates for this summer, or return to the Edinburgh Fringe, which is very frustrating. This is an industry in which bookings tend to happen six months or more in advance, so we'll be looking at getting back on the road towards the end of this year, or the start of 2007. In the meantime we're all keeping busy in our different ways, and will be coming together soon to begin work on the new show. We'll keep you posted.

Well, an official statement would have been more professional. One day people (fans)are pissed off of waiting. The small update in this blog here after such a long time is not the professional way. Hope you guys find a new production company asap.Waiting for an explosive comeback.

Lisa, are you a fan of The Magnets? because you sound rather negative in your message. Everyone has been asking for news or updates and they have post one on here and in the news section of the website and they still get moaned at.

The Magnets are one of the most professional bands I know. How about giving them a break now and again? They were just doing as they were asked!!

To The Magnets: The news on the main page was nice to read!! Congrats to Mikey & Emma on the engagement & to James on his film role!!

And Nic I hope you get better soon!! I have also had a bad knee recently but not that bad!! REST IT!!

And Hello to the other Magnets!!

WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?

Had a great idea recently,
please take pics of each of you and put them in the blog here so we can see you all; how good you are looking (as usual):) and to minimize the longing 'biggrin'.

OK?
Here we go.

Hi there everyone,

for the so-called hardcore fans in Germany: The Magnets will have a gig in Bad Dürrheim on 13th July, so make sure you come there :-)

for the UK fans: the lads will be part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, so make sure you do have time in August to come along :-)

Sunny greetings from Germany!
